Responsibilities
• Supervise daily warehouse operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Maintain inventory controls by conducting physical counts and reconciling with the data storage system.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt, order, assembly, and dispatch of goods.
• Ensure the warehouse layout is optimized for maximum space utilization and efficiency.
• Implement and maintain safety standards to ensure a secure working environment.
• Lead, manage, and motivate a team of warehouse employees to achieve performance targets.
• Review operational processes and policies continuously to drive improvements.
• Communicate with suppliers and transport companies to ensure timely delivery and pickup.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to meet supply chain demands and deadlines.
• Handle any unforeseen situations with a calm and professional approach to minimize disruptions.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management outlining warehouse performance.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a warehouse supervisor, particularly in the FMCG industry.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage a diverse team effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to operational challenges.
• Good understanding of warehouse management software and databases.
• Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and practices is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders adeptly.
