Job Description:
As a Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the store operates smoothly and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for day-to-day operations, including sales and profitability, inventory management, staff hiring and training, and maintaining operational standards. Your leadership will be key in driving the team towards achieving store goals and ensuring that high standards of service and professionalism are maintained consistently. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Responsibilities
• Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth workflow across all functions.
• Develop strategic plans to increase store revenue and improve customer satisfaction.
• Hire, train, and manage store staff to achieve operational and sales objectives.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure product availability.
• Implement effective visual merchandising strategies to enhance store appeal.
• Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with store policies, health and safety regulations, and legal standards.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
• Prepare monthly reports on sales performance, expenses, and budget allocation.
• Lead store team meetings to discuss performance, goals, and strategies for improvement.
• Initiate and execute marketing activities to promote new products and special offers.
• Develop community relations through events and partnerships that increase store visibility.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead a diverse team.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Solid understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant retail management software.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 40 pounds as needed.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
