Job Title: Bookkeeper
Location: London Bridge (Office-based, 5 days per week)
Hours: Full-time (part-time hours considered)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Role Overview
As Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting cash flow management, assisting with month-end processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards. While you do not need to be a fully qualified accountant, we are seeking someone who is ACCA-qualified and has strong bookkeeping and financial management experience, ideally within insurance or professional services.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Manage and monitor daily cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity
• Process invoices, payments, and expense claims
• Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheets
• Assist with monthly management accounts and reporting
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Liaise with external auditors and prepare supporting documentation
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant accounting standards
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support as required
Key Requirements:
• ACCA qualification (essential)
• Proven bookkeeping and accounting experience (insurance or financial services sector desirable)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and cash flow management
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident working independently and as part of a team
• Strong IT skills, including proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• A proactive and professional approach to work
