Description
The Route Sales Representative (RSR) is responsible for executing daily sales and delivery operations across assigned routes. This role ensures effective product distribution, in-store execution, and payment collection, all in alignment with company standards and customer service expectations.
How Will You Make an Impact?
Execute daily journey plans and deliver orders to assigned retail outlets efficiently and on time.
Ensure accurate product loading/unloading and maintain shelf merchandising as per company planograms.
Achieve assigned sales, visibility, and distribution targets across all SKUs.
Collect payments in accordance with approved credit terms and submit reconciled documentation daily.
Monitor product freshness, manage returns, and take proactive measures on near-expiry stock.
Ensure accurate invoicing and maintain up-to-date stock and delivery records.
Build and sustain strong relationships with customers and store personnel to enhance service quality.
Report market intelligence, competitor activities, and any route-related issues to the Sales Supervisor.
Maintain assigned vehicle in proper condition and adhere to all safety, hygiene, and operational standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school certificate or equivalent.
Minimum Experience:
1 2 years of FMCG experience in van sales or retail delivery.
Functional Knowledge:
Strong understanding of FMCG products and services.
Knowledge of pricing strategies.
Familiarity with regional geography and customer landscape.
Understanding of sales processes, controls, and compliance.
Basic proficiency in arithmetic and handheld device usage
Valid UAE manual driving license 3 Ton Pick up
Job-Specific Skills:
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Strong selling and negotiation abilities.
Prior UAE market experience is preferred.
Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
Customer-oriented, service-minded, and able to perform under pressure.
Willingness to work extended hours as required.
