We are seeking a detail-oriented and methodical Bookkeeper to join our back-office team at our growing real estate agency. This is a key operational role that ensures the accuracy and integrity of our financial records and supports seamless transaction management. The ideal candidate is calm, composed, and possesses an exceptional eye for detail.
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities
• Payment Verification & Processing: Meticulously review and verify all incoming and outgoing payments against invoices, contracts, and bank statements to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Contract Management: Prepare, review, and organise contracts with tenants, landlords, and service providers; ensure all documentation is complete and properly filed
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliation of bank accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies with precision
• Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and organised financial records, ledgers, and transaction logs
• Client Communication: Draft and send professional reminders, invoices, and payment notices to clients and stakeholders
• Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all financial documentation meets regulatory requirements and agency standards
• Transaction Support: Coordinate with the sales and management teams to ensure the timely processing of property transactions
• Data Entry & Organisation: Manage financial databases and spreadsheets with meticulous attention to numerical accuracy
